# Claude Admin

Sync organization members, workspaces, API keys, invites, and daily usage/cost analytics from the Anthropic **Admin API**.

## Authentication overview

Claude Admin uses an **Admin API Key** (`sk-ant-admin01-...`) sent in the `x-api-key` header. This is not the standard Claude API key used for Messages API calls (`sk-ant-api03-...`).

Only organization members with the **admin** role can create Admin API keys in [Claude Console](https://console.anthropic.com).
