# Value Harvest

> Explore a preview model for reallocating time, reducing cost, and comparing combined value scenarios without changing operational data.

# Explore Value Harvest

## Sources

Docs: [Team Time Spend](/ponder/popular/team-time-spend)

Web App: A synthetic Value Harvest experience currently exists in the Parable
demo surface. No production Workspace route was opened for this guide.

Value Harvest is a scenario experience for asking what could happen if a
Workspace reallocates time, removes avoidable cost, or combines both choices.
It is useful for comparing assumptions and discussing opportunity; it does not
apply an operational change.

## Compare scenarios

| Scenario | Question it helps explore |
| ---------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Reallocation** | What higher-value outcome could receive time from the selected activities? |
| **Cost takeout** | What cost could change under the selected reduction assumptions? |
| **Combined** | What happens when time reallocation and cost changes are modeled together? |

Adjust only assumptions you can explain. Keep the source period, population,
roles, cost inputs, and value model visible beside the result. Use the before
and after view to understand the direction of the scenario, then inspect the
underlying numbers rather than relying on the shape of a Sankey alone.

<Warning>
  This page describes a preview demonstrated with synthetic data. If Value
  Harvest does not appear in your Workspace, there is no supported customer
  workflow to enable from Ponder. Do not use demo output as a production
  forecast or commitment.
</Warning>

Use a Ponder Problem to record which assumptions are evidence-backed, which
remain hypotheses, and what Proof would be required before acting.
