A new composed Parable starts Personal: the person who built it edits it directly. Personal is not a mode anyone chooses: it means only you so far, and you edit it directly. The Parable saves Published Versions once someone else joins it. A saved Version is publication history. A Personal Parable can retain earlier Versions after publishing is disabled, so history alone does not determine its mode.Structure
The web app has no control that returns a Parable to Personal, but the API’s
Switch Collaboration mode between Personal and Publishing tool does. On a Personal Parable, the People tab
shows the participant list alone.
Published Versions does not mean public on the internet. Workspace access and
Parable responsibilities still govern the audience.
