This was a foundations week. Most of the engineering effort went into plumbing you won’t see directly — the new ingestion system that future connectors will use, the infrastructure layout that lets us add new services without a redeploy of everything, and internal admin tooling. Nothing changed in the product you use day-to-day. We’re sharing this note for completeness.
Platform is the composable core of Parable. Everything here has been seen across enough customers, long enough, that we’re confident it behaves the same way for yours. We move things into Platform deliberately — a great composable platform takes patience to build, and we’d rather be right than fast at this layer. If something’s in Platform, it’s production, stable, and ours to keep steady.

Groundwork for the next generation of connectors

  • We rebuilt the core system that powers how Parable pulls data from the tools you connect (your identity provider, your messaging tool, your calendar, and so on).
  • You don’t need to do anything. Connectors you’ve already set up keep working exactly as they did.
  • The practical benefit — which lands over the coming weeks — is that new connectors reach you faster, and existing ones get more resilient without any setup changes on your side.
  • When you provide credentials for a connected tool, they’re now encrypted the moment you submit them and stored in a dedicated secrets vault — never in our application database.
  • This has been our standard for a while; this week we made it the code path every new connector is built on top of.

  • If the platform experiences a brief hiccup or a rate-limit on our end, you’ll stay signed in instead of being logged out mid-task.
  • Small fix, noticeable quality-of-life difference if you’ve ever hit it.
